The Bills did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Bills reached some 30 spots for Javon Baker, and value like that does not grow back. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

The Brownlee Jr. steal is the beam this whole class leans on. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

Spending an early pick on cornerback with interior defensive lineman, safety and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
