Somebody in Round 5, Pick 21 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Packers sat still while Anthony Belton, the No. 114 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. They will need Hairston to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
