Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bills were there to profit. Evan Williams, the No. 214 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 248th pick.

The Lee reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. The Jackson pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback and tight end still on the board.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
