Draft Grade — Steelers
Overall D-
ValueC+ NeedA- TradesF FutureB-
The Steelers lost the trade table, and the D- tells the story.

The Steelers spent real capital to be 62 picks early on Collin Oliver, and the board is going to hold them to it.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. A whole weekend of picks and cornerback is somehow still a want. That Tuten pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.

Pick Analysis
Pick21 Rnd1 Kenneth Grant
In No. 21 they get a pocket-collapsing interior rusher. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick37 Rnd2 Nick Emmanwori
Nick Emmanwori in the 37th overall pick is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick46 Rnd2 Jalen Milroe
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Jalen Milroe. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick123 Rnd4 Jaylin Lane
A clean, defensible pick in the Round 4 slot with a little surplus value in Jaylin Lane. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick185 Rnd6 Bhayshul Tuten
The board fumbled Bhayshul Tuten all the way to Round 6, Pick 9, and they scooped it up. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick229 Rnd7 Collin Oliver
A big swing on Collin Oliver at slot 229, well ahead of any board in the building. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
