Nobody else had Carson Hinzman anywhere near the 207th overall pick. The Chargers did, by 46 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
