If confidence were a draft strategy, the Lions would have aced it. Kyle Louis at pick 118 is 51 spots clear of where he belonged. Hard to defend, and the D- reflects that.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Haulcy. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.
