After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Cardinals committed. J.J. McCarthy is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

The Byrd reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. The Sainristil pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.
