The trade table was a mismatch, and the Lions were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. Adding Kayvon Thibodeaux by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

However the rest shakes out, Scott at that price is a win they earned. If Williams pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
