A franchise passer in Mendoza headlines a B- weekend for the Browns.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Browns spent their marquee pick on Fernando Mendoza, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

They will need Green to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
