Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Cowboys were there to profit. Gunner Stockton, the No. 203 name on the board, should have been long gone before Round 7, Pick 9.

The linebacker spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The cost of the Washington Jr. reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
