The Eagles let Skattebo fall into their laps, and walked away with a D.

The phones were a trap the Eagles kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Reaching for Baron left real value on the table behind him.

The Skattebo value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
