Larceny in Round 7, Pick 35 lands the Jets a D+, Bertrand and all. The phones were a trap the Jets kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D+ is the result.
The Sinnott pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman and running back. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Bertrand value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.
In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
