The Seahawks finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a F. You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Seahawks did exactly that with Willie Lampkin in slot 218.
They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Everything downstream of Jayden Daniels depends on Jayden Daniels, and the building knows it. They will answer for taking DT-EDGE early while interior defensive lineman went begging.
Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Gentry.
