You could see the war room lean forward. T.J. Tampa at the Round 3 slot is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

The Suamataia pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman, safety and other spots still on the board. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
