The trade table was where it all came apart. The Bengals shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

The whole projection now runs through Caleb Williams; hit there and everything else looks smarter. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Lassiter pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

About as rough as a weekend gets on paper, with tight end still staring back at them.
