The Bears won the night they stopped Mahogany from sliding. Grade: B-.

For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Bears walked out of the weekend still thin at interior defensive lineman, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Mahogany. The Burch pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
