They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Kris Abrams-Draine, 45 picks early at the 77th pick. Put together, it is a D-.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The McCarthy pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The veteran additions, Spencer Brown chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
