Nothing loud, just a tidy B for the Panthers.

Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Pat Coogan at the 157th overall pick is 24 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

A whole weekend of picks and safety is somehow still a want. However the rest shakes out, Stockton at that price is a win they earned.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
