The Panthers got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D-.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Panthers reached some 46 spots for Darius Robinson, and value like that does not grow back. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The Panthers indulged a want in Smith while a need in quarterback stayed open. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

On value alone, Odunze makes the weekend a net positive.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
