The Falcons fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B+.

The Falcons ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

The Falcons indulged a want in Thomas while a need in quarterback, wide receiver and other spots stayed open. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They are betting Wilson proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
