Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall B-
ValueC+ NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
More right than wrong for the Ravens, and a B- to prove it.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Ravens spent pick 253 on Malik Washington, a name most had 160 spots down the list.

They banked enough surplus on Turner to cover a lot of smaller sins. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Job largely done: cornerback settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.

Pick Analysis
Pick32 Rnd1 Terrion Arnold
In the 32nd overall pick they get an island corner. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick64 Rnd2 Dallas Turner
Dallas Turner in the Round 2 slot is a gift, value that borders on unfair. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick104 Rnd4 Audric Estime
Audric Estime at the 104th pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick110 Rnd4 Mohamed Kamara
Mohamed Kamara at pick 110 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. The roster fit checks out.
Pick132 Rnd4 Sataoa Laumea
The board had cheaper options than Sataoa Laumea at slot 132, and it noticed. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick147 Rnd5 Ricky Pearsall
This one needs a full-page explanation: Ricky Pearsall in pick No. 147, miles early. It fills a real need, too.
Pick253 Rnd7 Malik Washington
Malik Washington in pick 253 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
