Somebody in slot 253 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Ravens sat still while Ricky Pearsall, the No. 200 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. Reaching for Monheim left real value on the table behind him. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most.

The skill positions did well by the weekend.
