The Ravens got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D+.

The Kalil Alexander pick is the one that will follow the Ravens into the fall. They took him 57 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. Hard to defend, and the D+ reflects that.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

On value alone, Slaughter makes the weekend a net positive. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
