Everything else got attention, and quarterback got none. That is a strange way for the Chiefs to leave a draft. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

That Pierce pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
