Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Chiefs were there to profit. Robert Lewis, the No. 218 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick 252.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Smith pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
