If confidence were a draft strategy, the Chiefs would have aced it. Que Robinson at No. 133 is 117 spots clear of where he belonged. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Hairston pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
