You build a draft on nights like this. Jaylin Simpson had no business being available in slot 171, and the Chiefs did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

Knox has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
