Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall C
ValueB NeedB+ TradesF FutureA+
The Seahawks bled value on every deal, hence the C.

The Seahawks lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. A mixed bag that lands at C.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Jackson falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.

In the end, one you will need a couple of seasons to truly judge.

Pick Analysis
Pick38 Rnd2 Jihaad Campbell
No edge and no loss on Jihaad Campbell in the 38th overall pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick44 Rnd2 Kaleb Johnson
Kaleb Johnson at the 44th pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick52 Rnd2 Xavier Watts
They did well to land Xavier Watts in slot 52, just ahead of his grade. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick56 Rnd2 Tre Harris
A clean, defensible pick in No. 56 with a little surplus value in Tre Harris. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick92 Rnd3 Donovan Jackson
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Donovan Jackson in pick No. 92. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
