Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Seahawks. Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Seahawks spent pick No. 234 on Hayden Conner, a name most had 33 spots down the list. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.
That Emmanwori pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Seahawks paired the rookies with proven help, Dre Greenlaw leading the way.
Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
