Somebody in pick 62 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Lions sat still while Tyler Nubin, the No. 33 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. On the needs board they went 6 of 9, with cornerback the one that mattered most. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
