Trotter Jr. should have been long gone. The Bears pounced, and earned a A-.

Whoever sat across the table from the Bears should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.

The Bishop pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman, running back and other spots still on the board. Landing Trotter Jr. that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Rome Odunze and all.
