Quarterback settled, Nix in the fold, and a B for the Bears.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Bo Nix, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Nix pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
