The Browns overdrafted Traore and paid the price. Grade: F. The Browns clearly saw something nobody else did in Boubacar Traore, taking him 35 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.
The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.
They will answer for taking linebacker early while quarterback went begging. However the rest shakes out, Stowers at that price is a win they earned.
Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.
In short, a weekend the front office will want to forget in a hurry.
