The Browns went off-script early, and it cost them a F. Nobody else had Jelani Thurman anywhere near pick 248. The Browns did, by 186 spots, and that gap is the whole story.
The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.
