Draft Grade — Jets
Overall B-
ValueB- NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
A sensible, unshowy class lands the Jets a B-.

Some picks age like wine; Jordan Travis at the 135th overall pick will need to, sitting 38 spots clear of his grade. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

The Bethune value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.

Pick Analysis
Pick10 Rnd1 Olumuyiwa Fashanu
In Round 1, Pick 10 they get a cornerstone up front. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick72 Rnd3 Malik Washington
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Malik Washington well ahead of where he belonged. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick111 Rnd4 Sataoa Laumea
By-the-book stuff, Sataoa Laumea at No. 111 squarely in line with his ranking. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick135 Rnd4 Jordan Travis
They reached a country mile for Jordan Travis at the Round 4 slot, and the board is aghast. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick185 Rnd6 Daijun Edwards
They paid sticker price for Daijun Edwards in pick No. 185, and that is fine. It fills a real need, too.
Pick256 Rnd7 Tatum Bethune
Steal is underselling it; Tatum Bethune at the 256th pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick257 Rnd7 Jalen Coker
Jalen Coker in pick No. 257 lands just on the right side of the ledger. The roster fit checks out.
