The Buccaneers cashed the board's mistake on Knight Jr.: B-. Somebody in Round 3, Pick 20 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Buccaneers sat still while Demetrius Knight Jr., the No. 60 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.
They are betting Lampkin proves the room right and everyone else wrong. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered.
The back end got a real overhaul.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
