The Chiefs did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Tre Harris fell into the 251st pick. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
