Grand theft in pick 143: the Texans steal Hood and grade out a B.

Somebody in the 143rd overall pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Texans sat still while Colton Hood, the No. 24 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. They will need Bowry to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. They left with running back solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
