If confidence were a draft strategy, the Texans would have aced it. Collin Oliver at No. 236 is 58 spots clear of where he belonged. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

They banked enough surplus on Mickens to cover a lot of smaller sins. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with running back the one that mattered most.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
