The Texans looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Jalen Travis at slot 241 regardless, 48 picks early. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Getting Booker where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Running back is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
