Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Texans spent the Round 3 slot on Keylan Rutledge, a name the board had a full 40 spots lower.

The Rodriguez steal is the beam this whole class leans on. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up. They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
