The real work happened on the phones. The Texans fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain. The cost of the White reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Price at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
