There is a lot to like until you notice wide receiver is still a hole. The Texans never got to the one that mattered most. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

That Slaughter pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Running back is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
