There is conviction, and then there is this. The Texans took Nazir Stackhouse a full 31 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Bond steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Running back was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
