A respectable, level-headed haul for the Texans: B-.

Boards are made to be trusted, and the Texans shredded theirs for Dont'e Thornton Jr.. He came off 86 spots early, and the room will hear about it. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

They banked enough surplus on Pierce to cover a lot of smaller sins. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
