Draft Grade — Packers
Overall B-
ValueB NeedB- TradesB- FutureB-
The Packers won the night they stopped Travis from sliding. Grade: B-.

You build a draft on nights like this. Jordan Travis had no business being available in the Round 7 slot, and the Packers did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

Owens has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The Packers indulged a want in Smith while a need in wide receiver and interior defensive lineman stayed open.

For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.

Pick Analysis
Pick25 Rnd1 Jackson Powers-Johnson
In pick No. 25 they get a cornerstone up front. A real need, handled.
Pick41 Rnd2 Tyler Nubin
A straight-up fair deal on Tyler Nubin at the 41st pick, value and slot in agreement. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick58 Rnd2 Troy Fautanu
You do not let an offensive lineman like Troy Fautanu reach No. 58 and blink. They did not. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick88 Rnd3 Trey Benson
The board had cheaper options than Trey Benson at the Round 3 slot, and it noticed. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick91 Rnd3 Maason Smith
Hard to square with the roster. With positions of obvious need still on the board, Maason Smith adds a DT-EDGE and leaves wide receiver and interior defensive lineman untouched.
Pick125 Rnd4 Kamari Lassiter
Kamari Lassiter in Round 4, Pick 25 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick168 Rnd5 Nelson Ceaser
Nelson Ceaser in pick 168 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick201 Rnd6 Tyler Owens
Tyler Owens at slot 201 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. Nice player, but the depth chart did not need him here.
Pick219 Rnd6 Tyrice Knight
Fair-plus on Tyrice Knight, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick245 Rnd7 Jordan Travis
Circle this one: Jordan Travis at the Round 7 slot is a fall that decides a draft. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick255 Rnd7 Brevyn Spann-Ford
Value with a capital V on Brevyn Spann-Ford in slot 255, a genuine coup. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
