The board owed the Chargers one, and it paid up: Wyatt Milum, the No. 62 name on the board, sitting there at the 256th overall pick like a gift left on the doorstep.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
