The Lions looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Kalil Alexander at Round 6, Pick 7 regardless, 33 picks early.

Stroman falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. A whole weekend of picks and linebacker is somehow still a want.

Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The back end got a real overhaul.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the linebacker spot they never got to.
