Draft Grade — Rams
Overall
B-

FutureB-
A solid, sensible weekend for the Rams: B-. Nobody had Isaiah World this high, and it is not close. The Rams reached 44 spots to get him at No. 29.
That is a quarterback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick Analysis
Pick13
Rnd1
Mansoor Delane
In Round 1, Pick 13 they get a ballhawk on the outside. Need was not the driver here.
Pick29
Rnd1
Isaiah World
In the Round 1 slot they get an anchor for the offensive line, a steep price for the projection. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick61
Rnd2
Michael Taaffe
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Michael Taaffe at the 61st pick is the proof. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick93
Rnd3
Nicholas Singleton
A clean, defensible pick in slot 93 with a little surplus value in Nicholas Singleton. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick167
Rnd5
Aaron Anderson
A slide stopped in pick No. 167, with Aaron Anderson worth more than the price. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick205
Rnd6
Noah Fifita
A quiet steal in No. 205: Noah Fifita for less than the market said. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick208
Rnd6
Jerry Wilson
Jerry Wilson in slot 208 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A luxury on a unit that was already in good shape.
Pick232
Rnd7
Kevin Jennings
You do not let a quarterback like Kevin Jennings reach the 232nd overall pick and blink. They did not. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick250
Rnd7
Micah Morris
They did well to land Micah Morris in the 250th pick, just ahead of his grade. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick256
Rnd7
Troy Bowles
Troy Bowles in pick 256 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
