The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Lions reached some 33 spots for Drew Shelton, and value like that does not grow back. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Moss falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

Job largely done: cornerback settled and 5 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
